·        Theory and simulation of electron-specimen interaction:

Monte-Carlo simulation for transmitted and reflected electrons. Specific sample-detector models.


·        Wettability research at micron and nano scales using environmental scanning electron microscopy (ESEM):

Triple line and contact angle, controlled methods for nano-droplet nucleation, dynamics and coalescence on both bulk and low dimesional structures


·        Cathodoluminescence research


·        Correlative and in-situ electron microscopy


·        Crystallography by electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD) at micron and nano scales
